Paula May

Central Region Director

Paula May is the Family and Consumer Science Agent in Van Buren County. Paula has been in this role for the last six years. However, has eight years with UT Extension. After receiving a B.S. in Human Ecology from Tennessee Tech, Paula worked as a TNCEP program assistant for two years. She was the middle/high school FACS teacher in Van Buren for 11 years before returning to UT Extension as an extension agent. While teaching, Paula received a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction from MTSU. Paula’s most important role is wife and mother. Paula has been married to her husband, Clarence, for 20 years. They have two daughters, Aubrey and Clara. They love to travel, hike, and just be at home together.
