Western Region Director

I am excited to be back serving on the board as Director Elect for the Western Region. I have been an active member of TEAFCS since the beginning of my employment and it has given me the opportunity to serve in several offices at the region, state, and national level. I am the County Director and FCS Agent in Hardin County. I began my career in Extension in Alabama but my home roots pulled me back to Tennessee where I have worked in Marshall and Hardin Counties for the last 16 years. I earned a BS in Sociology from the University of North Alabama and a BS and MS in Family and Consumer Sciences from the University of Alabama. My primary focus is well-being education for all ages. I am also heavily involved in the county fair, assisting with the many events and activities throughout the week. I serve as the advisor for the Junior Fair Board as well. I am married to Scott and have a 15 year old daughter, Lydia. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling to new places, reading, boating, and spending as much time as I can at the beach or lake.
